Understanding packaging costs can sometimes leave you with more questions than answers …
FORENSIKs ‘should-cost’ modeller enables you to accurately and easily calculate the cost of your packaging which means that you can collaborate even closer with your suppliers during the tendering process.

Live Should-Cost Modelling
Used in conjunction with a fully pre populated database of cost and machine performance profiles, Forensik delivers market best price and should cost assessments instantaneously.
– Machine cost/ performance and raw materials are pre mapped for each key geographical region in the world
– Easy to use user interface, enables instant cost modelling on single SKU’s
– Excel based upload allows for mass data upload for large, complex datasets in one operation
– Automated reporting ensures standard dashboard and reports are delivered directly to your inbox
Third Party Managed Pricing
Forensik can be used as a collaborative pricing tool between buyer and supplier. The supplier enters their cost and machine performance details in order to calculate the agreed price. The supplier then decides which cost data points they will allow to be shared with the brand owner.
– In the event a supplier is not willing to be fully transparent commercially, the team at benchmark can lock these hidden data points in the system such that the supplier can not adjust these without prior consent. In the event hidden data points need to be adjusted, the brand owner needs to approve this change and the team at BM will administer the change to Forensik
– Both the brand owner and supplier have full access to the system to model cost and price as the portfolio evolves
C02e Calculator
A first to market low-cost solution to calculate the CO2e for every material code
– Provide a carbon footprint measurement at the SKU (packaging unit) level
– A bottom-up approach, gathering data at every step of the process
– Using CO2e from multiple packaging materials e.g., a film and a box
